EVENTS

The best events create a buzz that lasts

...long after they are over

TEDxFenway has presented some of the foremost cultural, medical, social, and entrepreneurial ideas and practices in Boston during its tenure.  Broadview Marketing was responsible for introducing speakers and corporate sponsors to the event, as well as developing creative and engaging activities for attendees.

Broadview Marketing invited arts and culture-based sponsors and home design editors to participate in this sold out event that featured a cocktail reception, an in-depth panel discussion with design specialists and a behind-the-scenes tour of Boston Symphony Hall to celebrate Fenway’s Signature Kick Off for Boston Design Week.

Part of the ATP World Tour, the 2010 Campbell's Hall of Fame Tennis Championships set the scene for a summer soiree in Newport RI. Hosted at the end of play, private guests and members of the press were invited by event sponsor, Woodmeister Master Builders, to an Après Cocktail Reception in the Museum Gallery and USTA Wing of the International Tennis Hall of Fame.  The event featured a surprise appearance by an ATP pro and a book signing by Cheryl Hackett celebrating her book, Newport Shingle Style.  Broadview Marketing coordinated, promoted and managed the entire event.

The International Furnishings and Design Association (IFDA) kicked off its worldwide, annual design exhibition titled, ‘Take A Seat’ in New York and Boston. Take A Seat features up-cycled and newly-designed chairs crafted by furnishing and design professionals using unique fabrics and recycled materials.  Exhibitions are hosted in the US and Japan. New England hosted several galas at various locations including the Larz Anderson Auto Museum, the DeCordova Sculpture Park, and the Royale Nightclub of Boston. The events raised funds for the Women’s Institute for Housing and Economic Development (WIHED), Friends of the Children - Boston, and The Lyceum Fellowship.  Broadview managed the coordination, promotions, sponsorships, and management of each New England event.  The series of events won a Gold PRISM award for Best Event of the Year.

Maserati, Bowers & Wilkins and Elizabeth Grady were just a few of the luxury brands that came together for an evening of sensational experiences.  Guests were treated to new innovative products - many of which, they were able to take home with them.  Broadview Marketing developed the concept for the event that ultimately showcased the Experiential Showroom at Audio Concepts in Boston.  We attracted a media sponsor and luxury brands to the event, which we promoted and managed.

When the popular, social media game-changer, Houzz.com launched in 2009, Broadview Marketing was retained to manage its launch event at the Boston Design Center.  Guests were invited to an overview of the new internet tool that changed the face of how homeowners researched the internet for their design projects.  Houzz presented industry statistics gathered from its website and shared the most popular kitchen, bathroom and design trends happening in the US.

The Boston LGBT Film Festival (renamed Wicked Queer) hosted a pre-cocktail reception to kick off the long-standing annual event that ran for 10 days.  Broadview Marketing planned and managed the celebration, which included a screening of two short films from the previous year.

This invitation-only event was developed by Broadview Marketing to highlight the work that both Parker Construction and Herrick & White accomplished in the fall of 2014. The private owners of the museum had a vision of becoming one of the most highly regarded automotive museums in New England, a beacon for the local community and a hub for car enthusiasts.  Upon the completion of the restoration of this historic Newport property, Broadview Marketing opened the doors for a private viewing of the museum for the top designers and architects in the residential design community as well as notable historians to see.  Our firm invited New England Home magazine to be the event’s media sponsor and the results were exceptional.  A reception was held in the main exhibit area and guests were invited to tour the private upper floor and offices of the Audrain Automobile Museum.

Broadview Marketing was asked to coordinate the book signing for award-winning chef and restaurateur, Barbara Lynch for the Newton Women's Club.  Chef Lynch led an insightful and humorous discussion on her book, Out of Line: A Life of Playing with Fire. The event was well-attended and guests received a signed copy of the book and had an opportunity to be photographed with the celebrated chef.

Along with chapter members of the Eastern Massachusetts National Association of the Remodeling Industry (EM NARI), architects, builders, interior designers, real estate agents, and suppliers were invited to relax and network on a final summer evening before heading into a busy fall season.  This popular, annual event was created specifically for Audio Concepts.  Each year, Broadview Marketing developed a new theme for the event which successfully attracted new members to the EM-NARI organization. Broadview coordinated and managed the event.
